Sabas Mlengu Rite

I am called Sabas Mlengu Rite, I was born in 1956 at Orori village, Hai district, in Kilimanjaro – Tanzania. I was trained as a primary teacher after completing my secondary education. I worked as a teacher until retirement. I also served my community as a sub-village chairman for seven years.
Currently I am small farmer and animal keeper. I also volunteer in the Akilimali project as an advisory board member, helping with research planning, data collection, and giving advice to make sure the project respect our culture and benefit the community. I acquired this position after been trained by THE GLOBAL HEALTH NETWORK on Good Clinical Practice and performed well.
Aurelia Dominic Malya

My name is Aurelia Dominic Malya. I was born in 1956 in Kilimanjaro – Tanzania. I am married with children and grandchildren. I earn my living through and keeping animals since 1990, I have being volunteering as a health worker in my village called Orori.
I also work with Akilimali project in my community as advisory board member since last year 2024 after acquired a training conducted on line by THE GLOBAL HEALTH NERWORK. My main tasks in the Akilimali project is to join and participate advisory board meetings, helping with research planning, giving advice, and collecting data to support community health.
Sabinus Leons Mtenga

My name is Sabinus Leons Mtenga. I was born on 12 May 1961 in Sanyastation village, Hai district, in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. After completing my ordinary Secondary school, I joined the police college (CCP) in Moshi.
I was employed as a police officer in different places across until I retired. After retirement, I started farming and keeping animals for my income. I was also elected as a sub-village chairperson for seven years.
Currently. I am one of the advisory board members of Akilimali project. I got this role after completing on line training in Good Clinical Practice FROM THE GLOBAL HEALTH NETWORK.
Hadija Ramadhan Ulomi

My name is Hadija Ramadhan Ulomi. I was born in 1959 at Sanyastation village, in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. I have served my community in various roles, including as a sub-village chairperson for 20 years, village representative with World Vision, Chairperson of Village committee, and Ufunguo Organization to support the poor and awarded a certificate of appriciation. In addition to that I helped the distribution of TASAF funds to poor families.Now, I am a farmer and also a board member of Akilimali project, which helps in research and care for people with dementia after been trained by the GLOBAL HEALTH NETWORK.
Edward Ngerezi Mbowe

My name is Edward Ngerezi Mbowe. I was born I 1949 Narumu Tella village, at Kilimanjaro, Tanaznia.
I am holding a Diploma in Banking, I have worked at National Microfinance Bank (NMB) as a bank inspector for 28 years. I also worked as Ward Councilor of Narumu Ward for 5 years.Apart from personal activities, I was trained by THE GLOBAL HEALTH NETWORK on the good Clinical Practice and now I am active board member of Akilimali project. I work with other board members and Aklimali team From Newcastle University and Kilimanjaro to plan, advice, assess, and provide quality care to the participants we serve.
